Technical Lead – Operational Technology (OT)

Your Role

As a  Technical Lead – OT, you will be responsible for  designing, documenting, and recommending industrial network architectures and IT infrastructures  tailored to client needs.
You will work closely with engineering and production teams, as well as clients, to ensure the performance, security, and reliability of deployed solutions.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Design and develop industrial Ethernet network architectures and virtualized IT infrastructures.

• Develop cybersecurity requirements according to infrastructure standards Critical analysis. Participate in defining and implementing technical solutions in client projects. Write functional analyses and necessary technical documentation. Collaborate in preparing submissions, proposals, and cost estimates. Participate in client meetings to understand needs and propose appropriate solutions. Configure, test, and validate equipment and architectures before commissioning. Perform commissioning and quality assurance at the client's site. Maintain technological awareness to keep expertise up-to-date and recommend best practices. practical skills.

Desired Profile

• Education : Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, automated production engineering, or any other relevant field.

• Experience : Minimum of 10 years in a similar role.

• Certification : Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (required).

• Languages : Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.

• Tools and Technologies:

• In-depth knowledge of Ethernet networks (Layer 2 and Layer 3), firewalls, and Cisco equipment.

Experience with virtualization environments (e.g., VMware) and virtualization servers.

Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server and industrial automation systems (PLC, DCS) (an asset).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Valid driver's license.
